We’re a food-loving husband and wife team, based in the heart of South West London, passionate about delivering exceptional catering services in the capital and the surrounding counties.

Using that winning formula of fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, talented chefs, and a knockout service team, our little family business is the go-to choice when it comes to event catering.

About Piptree

What’s in a name? The Piptree Story

From a tiny pip, grows a delicious ripe pear. And what can we make from pears? Perry! Our family name.

Well, that’s part of the origin story for our catering company; Pip just happens to be the nickname we gave our firstborn child, and we could think of no better way to celebrate the birth of our beautiful son, and the start of our business adventures. Just like Pip, just like the pear trees, and just like our tightly-knit family, Piptree has grown into something wonderful…and we can’t wait to see where the journey takes us!

My husband, Richard, who heads up the creative and culinary side of our operation, has run his own successful catering company for 15 years, while I (Alice!) take care of the event and client management side of things after a career in medical marketing and events.

We met 23 years ago and have been married for nearly 14 years. We live together in West London with our two sons and our blue whippet named Acer—who’s currently on holiday at my dad’s while he recovers from a bout of ill health.
